Count László Festetics, the son and heir of Count György Festetics, who founded the Georgikon in Keszthely in 1797, sent two young teachers on a study trip to Western Europe for several years. Based on the reports, letters and diaries of Pál Gerics, a doctor, veterinarian and József Lehrmann, a gardener and winemaker, György Kurucz, a professor at the Károli Gáspár Reformed University, publishes his work after many years of research.
