Safety nets

Things do not happen to people when they happen to them. In the course of our lives, we have to endure many losses and disappointments, and we are often forced to make questionable decisions. We have to process these in our souls, correct them, and accept them with ourselves. The only thing that will save us is if we work out how to live with them. This short story shows fictional examples of the self-defense of the soul along the given stations of two real life paths. Therefore, the Dear Reader should not expect from us an unquestionably authentic portrait of either Klára Szabó Lőrincné Mikes or Leni Riefenstahl, because although the milestones of their fates flashed here are by no means made up, we want to give an image of the workings of the psyche, not of their real inner selves, with this writing.
